Niagara Parks Invasive Species Management Program - Niagara Climate Change Action Network

In collaboration with Brock University, Niagara Parks Commission (NPC) recently developed an Invasive Species Management Program to protect and support native species and sensitive habitats. This program includes the early detection, inventorying and prioritization of invasive species as well as the use of best management practices to manage these species. The current priority species are Hemlock Woolly Adelgid, Tree of Heaven, Phragmites, Flowering Rush, and Buckthorn spp.
